description: The suspension (sludge) arrives
via a task box to the drain bed, where the suspension releases water by gravity filtration. Built-in weirs, the sludge cake is rearranged so that the water can drain on the surface of the sludge cake. The built-in baffles rupture the resulting sludge layer to create permanent free-moving belt surfaces that allow a fast outflow of flocculated water.
