The water treatment plant has a redundant structure, which means that two identical plants are set up in parallel, which can be operated simultaneously or individually. The concentrate osmosis is only available. Each stage is equipped with a frequency converter and was controlled individually via a central control cabinet. The modules of the RO1 were cleaned on 23.03.17, in the RO2 replaced with new ones on 14.11.17.

The reverse osmosis is related to the central control cabinet which also controls the following water treatment steps: water softening with membrane evaporation, electrodeionisation, UV-desinfection and pressure increasing.
